This site visit will be to the Kleinton Battery Energy Storage System, it is one of the initial five locations to host a large-scale, network connected battery to support Queensland's uptake of renewable energy. This 4MW/8MWh battery is important to support Queensland achieving 50 per cent renewable energy by 2030.

Following on from the site visit the tour will head to Monty's Brewery for some networking.

Dress code 

Full PPE required to enter site including hard hat, safety boots and eye protection.
