Overview
Mentoring is a professional relationship where someone with more experience can enhance the career development of someone less experienced. For Engineers and technical professionals, mentoring can be an opportunity to chew the fat over difficult problems, discuss innovation, seek career advice, and learn about leadership in a mutually respectful and trusting environment. This session is designed to help you maximise the benefits of mentoring by ensuring your mentoring relationship is set up for success.
In this webinar you will learn about:
- the benefits of mentoring to both the mentor and mentee
- what elements make a great mentoring relationship
- steps you can take to set up for success
- a handy toolkit to keep mentoring on track
- how to handle things that might go wrong in a mentoring relationship.
At the end of the presentation, you are invited to join Alison for a 30-minute meet the speaker session.
