Jillian is a passionate, relationship and results driven engineering leader and board director with a proven ability to lead engineers and technicians who design, develop, construct, and operate industry projects and operations. She is experienced in engaging multiple and diverse stakeholders including government and private sectors to produce exceptional results safely and ethically. She is a resilient leader who over the past nearly 30 years has shaped industry in mining and energy construction and brownfields projects, energy distribution and utilisation, mining operations, technical governance, and consulting services.

Jillian received the Professional Engineer of the Year Award at Engineers Australia's Excellence Awards in 2024.

Lecturer - Engineering, Charles Darwin University

Dr Eva Ignatious is a talented biomedical engineer with a passion for neurophysiology research and medical device development. Holding a PhD from Charles Darwin University, she has expertise in areas like clinical trial experimentation, biomedical signal processing, and theoretical modelling. Her research during PhD focused on the study for developing an objective method for binaural hearing using Electroencephalogram. Eva’s impressive achievements include two US patents and two Indian patents for a wearable device to detect breast cancer, as well as numerous journal publications. In addition to her research work, Eva is working in various roles including lecturer and engagement officer at Charles Darwin University, mentoring the next generation of engineers. She is also an active volunteer in inspiring STEM enthusiasts across Northern Territory through Inspired NT outreach activities. With her innovative mindset and diverse skillset, Eva continues to make valuable contributions to the field of Engineering especially in Biomedical engineering.

Eva was named a Northern Division recipient for Emerging Professional Engineer of the Year Award at Engineers Australia's excellence Awards in 2024.
