Strength - Engineers Australia's Cultural Change & Member Growth Initiative
What is Strength?
strength is a member engagement initiative that will increase the profile of our profession, grow our organisation and make us stronger.
By showing our strength we will:
- Strengthen the profile of engineers in this country
- Strengthen the views and voice of engineers with government
- Strengthen engineering connections
- Strengthen learning opportunities, and
- Strengthen engagement in engineering activities.
Learn how you can participate in strength.
As members, we understand the value that Engineers Australia membership provides. We are best placed to help our organisation grow by encouraging friends and colleagues to join our professional body.
Help strengthen our organisation by:
- Attracting new members
- Encouraging past members to re-join
- Motivating current members to upgrade their membership where appropriate
- Advocating all engineers to become Chartered.
I am also calling on all engineers to become Chartered. By doing so, not only will you raise your own personal profile, but also that of our profession. Engineers Australia members have a real opportunity to become the leaders of a Generation of Chartered Engineers.
We have enlisted the support of a number of high profile CEO level leaders of the engineering profession to act as official ambassadors of strength. I encourage you to visit our strength ambassadors page, where you will have the opportunity to hear from these leaders on their thoughts on what it means to be a member of Engineers Australia and the importance of achieving Chartered status for all engineers.
I look forward to your contribution to shaping the future of Engineers Australia.
