Engineers Australia has been named ‘Most Popular Professional Association of the Year’ in the Australian Association of Graduate Employers (AAGE) Graduate Recruitment Industry Awards. 

The Engineers Australia’s Student and Graduate team attended the awards night held in Melbourne on Thursday 27 October. 

Student and Graduate General Manager Samantha Zdjelar says, “this award means so much to the many teams at Engineers Australia who are striving to support and grow the careers of our young engineers.” 

Each year, the AAGE recognises outstanding examples of excellence in the Australian graduate recruitment and development industry through their annual awards. 

Members of the AAGE once again voted for Engineers Australia as the winner after also taking out this award in 2018, 2019 and 2021. The award recognises the work of Engineers Australia teams in supporting the careers of graduate engineering professionals. 

“We are passionate about supporting graduate employers to recruit, retain and develop their next generation of engineering leaders, and this award is a reflection of the work” Samantha says. 

The aim of the award is to recognise the work of professional associations. Members of AAGE were asked to vote for the professional association that has provided the best quality services over the last 12 months.
