There are many ways to make the most of your Engineers Australia graduate membership. We are bringing you a jam-packed year of learning and development to help you thrive in your career.
Graduate welcome events
Meet like-minded young engineering professionals, share ideas and build your network at our graduate welcome events across Australia. Registrations are now open for an event in your state.
Graduate jobs board
Looking for a new opportunity in 2023? The Engineers Australia jobs board is the best place to go for engineers in their early career phase. This is a great resource showing opportunities for graduate programs, internships, vacation placements, work experience and early career roles.
Young Engineers Australia CPD series
Build your Continuing Profession Development (CPD) hours with opportunities specifically for young engineers. Designed to support you on your career journey, upcoming CPD in 2023 includes, ‘personal branding’, ‘how to become influential’, and ‘deconstructing influence.’ You can also check out our award-winning Bite-sized Learning, which has an extensive suite of online learning.
Last year’s Elevation Careers Fair saw more than 1300 students and graduates meet directly with 60 actively recruiting engineering employers. Our elevation series provides a good opportunity for you to find your first engineering role, meet and network with major engineering firms. Stay tuned to Engineering News for updates on our 2023 events in March.
As a graduate, applying for jobs can be daunting and time-consuming, so we have created the careers hub specifically for our graduate members. The hub offers a range of online services to assist graduates to transition from university into the working world and beyond. You’ll find a cover letter template, resume tips, info on networking and ways to get started on your Chartered journey.
These are just some of the benefits you get as an Engineers Australia graduate member. Stay tuned to Engineering News for more throughout the year, including the 2023 graduate hackathon and our mentoring programs.
