Engineers Australia Melbourne office relocation

Engineers Australia’s Melbourne office will be relocating in July 2025, to a new property located at Level 26, 181 William Street.

After completing a feasibility assessment and gathering feedback from Victorian based members and employees, Engineers Australia worked with Cushman and Wakefield to find an office space that will deliver a more efficient, accessible and connected experience.

The relocation is a result of the lease expiring at the current location on levels 30 and 31, 600 Bourke Street. The new space will be completely refurbished to offer modern, collaborative member and event spaces. It’s designed to showcase engineering and pay tribute to engineers past and present. The member experience will be enhanced with the inclusion of dedicated members meeting spaces, quiet rooms, hot desking and an improved member’s lounge.

Our William Street office will be spread over a single floor, reflecting a strategic space reduction of 15 per cent in total floor area, ensuring smarter utilisation and substantial cost savings when compared to the previous location.

Sustainability was a key priority in the selection criteria with 181 William Street achieving a 5.5 Star NABERS rating and Carbon Neutral Certification by Climate Active. We look forward to providing further updates as the project progresses towards July.
