Engineers Australia's Canberra office is relocating

We are pleased to announce that Engineers Australia’s Canberra office has been renovated and will be relocating from the Ground Floor to Level 1, 11 National Circuit, Barton. The doors will officially open on 1 May 2025.

Following a detailed feasibility assessment, this move reflects our commitment to providing a more accessible, efficient and connected space for our Canberra-based members.

The upgraded space will feature a dedicated members’ lounge for the first time, along with modern, collaborative spaces designed to support professional networking, events and meetings. The space will also include state of the art AV, purpose-built meeting hubs, quiet rooms and hot-desking facilities to enhance flexibility and productivity.

Sustainability was a core focus of the renovation. To support this, Engineers Australia partnered with Spaceful, a certified carbon-neutral builder based in Canberra, to design and deliver the new space. Their expertise helped reduce our environmental impact during the build, by repurposing existing infrastructure and installing double-glazed windows.

Save the date for the official Members’ Launch event on 4 June 2025, from 5.30 to 7.15 pm, where we will be joined by Romilly Madew AO, Chief Executive Officer, and Dr Raj Aseervatham, National President and Board Chair.

We are excited to approach the transition this month and look forward to welcoming everyone to our new home. Stay tuned for more updates as we move closer to the official opening.
