Call for Nominations - Civil College Board
The Civil College Board is the peak learned society group within Engineers Australia that represents the civil engineering discipline.
The College Board:
- Provides a communication channel between members of the civil engineering community and EA
- Provides communication across sub-disciplines
- Explores civil discipline related initiatives and provides guidance on CPD.
- Ensures relevant CPD is available to all members of the Civil Engineering Team.
- Recognises the achievements of members of the Civil Engineering Team at all levels of experience.
The Civil College Board focuses on ensuring members of the Civil College receive the information relevant to the Civil Engineering Team through their Engineers Australia membership.
The Civil College Board currently comprises three elected members and eight representatives from National Committees and Technical Societies. These are:
National Committees
- National Committee on Water Engineering
- National Committee on Coastal and Ocean Engineering
Technical Societies
- Transport Australia
- Asset Management Council
- Railway Technical Society of Australasia
- Australian Geomechanics Society
- Australian Tunnelling Society
- Institute of Public Works Engineering Australia
We are seeking expressions of interest from members of Engineers Australia Civil College to fill (up to) three College Board positions for an initial term of two years.
