Innovation in Multilevel Residential Steel Construction - 80 Arthur St, Nth Sydney

SOLD OUT.

Comprised of an innovative steel framed structural system comprised of universal column sections as primary beams supporting deep trapezoidal floor decking in the secondary direction, the building houses 218 serviced

apartments and a retail space.

The design allows a structural floor depth of 290 mm to be achieved whilst maintaining the 3050 mm floor to floor height originally intended for a concrete framed building.

Key areas to be covered in the presentation include:

• Cost competitiveness against other building materials

• The structural solution – light weight, minimal depth, construction speed

• Benefits of off-site fabrication

• Achievement of Fire and Acoustic requirements
