$18 million Chambers Flat Rd upgrade starts Wednesday, 16 September 2015

The largest road project in Logan City Council's history is underway, with $18 million being invested to upgrade Chambers Flat Rd from Park Ridge to Crestmead.

Works include duplicating 2.7km of Chambers Flat Rd from Park Ridge Rd to Entrance St to accommodate two lanes in each direction, two new signalised intersections, the installation of a central median strip with street lighting, and drainage improvement works.

The upgrade is part of Council’s long-term vision to accommodate the growing needs of the Park Ridge area and its surrounds, with 30,000 people expected to live in the area in the coming years.
