Civil and Structural Panel awards prize at UTS Prize Night Friday, 14 November 2014

On Wednesday 22 October 2014, the annual Engineering and Information Technology Faculty Prize Night was held at the University of Technology Sydney.

Each year the Engineers Australia Civil and Structural Panel (Sydney Division) awards a prize to the student who achieves the highest mark in the subject Computer Modelling and Design. David Willows attended the ceremony on behalf of the Panel, and presented the 2014 prize to Nicholas Allan.

The UTS Faculty Prize Night provides an opportunity for industry prize sponsors to congratulate students who demonstrate excellence in engineering and IT. The night was chaired by Dr Rob Jarman and Faculty Dean, Professor Hung Nguyen.

During the proceedings, over 60 exceptional Engineering and Information Technology students were awarded for outstanding achievements in their studies. Following the formal ceremony, guests and prize sponsors were invited to stay to meet the students who are to become tomorrow’s engineers and IT professionals.
