Nominations for office bearer positions now open

Engineers Australia office bearer positions for the 2017 calendar year are now open for nomination.

Nationally, there are positions open on the National Board, National Congress and on College Boards, including the newly formed College of Leadership and Management.

We also currently have a number of Queensland Division Committee positions open for a two-year tenure. The Division Committee has developed a number of policy positions, including on infrastructure, energy, water management and the de-engineering of the public sector. The aim of developing these policy positions is to strengthen our position as the trusted voice of the profession as we influence government policy and build our profile in the wider community. If you would like to take a leadership role on policy positions, please nominate as a candidate for an office bearer role.

Engineers Australia office bearers bring key strategic value to the profession. If you have the skills and expertise to provide trusted and highly respected leadership and advocacy for the engineering profession, you are encouraged to self-nominate or encourage others to nominate. The whole organisation benefits from your contribution, so please ensure you submit your online nominations by 5.00PM AEST Friday 29 July 2016. For more information, view our Frequently Asked Questions or contact us via email.
