With the warm weather making a skirting appearance, it was time to take to the water. With close to 50 people jumping aboard the river cruise we headed upstream, taking in some of the sites London has to offer from a unique vantage point off the Thames.
While the water lapped up and the rain fell down, a large number of drinks were drank. Combining this with a great spread of food and even dessert, the three hours disappeared in no time. With lots of engineering talk and the now familiar Brexit discussions, it was good to stop swaying and get back onto dry land, where the good time rolled on for a large number onto some nearby bars.
A great annual event ran by EA and sponsored by GBM, and a must-do for IPENZ members next year if have not experienced it before.
