Celebrating the successes and achievements of Australian civil engineers we are proud to continue the tradition of recognising significant contributions to the field of civil engineering.  These awards aim to recognise outstanding civil engineers with leadership skills, communication excellence, technical skills combined with service to the community and sustainable development in engineering. Finding and celebrating these rare individuals is one way the Civil College contributes to building a body of knowledge, promoting the profession, and setting and maintaining high professional standards for our members.

The Civil College Awards for 2017 are as follows:

The Sir John Holland Civil Engineer of the Year provides a high profile focus on engineering achievement and serves as both a showcase for civil engineering and a focus for young people interested in pursuing engineering career. You can nominate a colleague or find out more information here.

The Rod McGee Medal recognises and encourages engineering students to engage in career opportunities in public works engineering. One award will be offered each year to undergraduate students in their final year Civil Engineering. Nominate or find out more information here.

The W H Warren Medal is given annually by the Civil College of Engineers Australia for the best paper in the discipline of civil engineering. You can nominate a colleague or find out more information here.

The Transport Medal seeks to reward and recognise outstanding individual contributions to transport in Australia. This award is presented on a biennial basis. You can nominate a colleague or find out more information here.
