State registration eligibility assessment terms

I understand and agree:

  • I will no longer be able to modify my application.
  • The application will not be queued for assessment until payment is received.
  • The assessor may request further information from me as part of the assessment process and I acknowledge that the assessment may not be able to be concluded unless and until such information has been provided.
  • The assessor may, at their discretion, request submission of original documents and may communicate directly with the institution that issued the documents to seek verification or clarification of the information provided in support of my application
  • This application is only for the purpose of assessing my eligibility for statutory registration in the relevant state or territory, the statutory registration body in the relevant state or territory is responsible for determining whether I will be registered in that state or territory and not Engineers Australia.
  • I understand that if I am assessed by Engineers Australia as eligible for statutory registration, I will receive a letter of eligibility from Engineers Australia to submit directly to the relevant state or territory statutory registration body as part of my application to that body for statutory registration.
  • The eligibility assessment will be made in good faith based on the documentation submitted and the final assessment outcome may differ from my original request.
  • The assessment outcome will be valid for a period of 12 months, and I may need to reapply for assessment after that period, unless I am a Chartered Member of Engineers Australia or registered on the National Engineering Register in the corresponding Area of Engineering.
