The Retired Engineers Committee would like to learn about the types of events that those who are retired, or are nearing retirement, are interested in attending. They would very much like to hear your thoughts via their survey, which has questions about the types of events you like to attend, preferred attendance times, frequency of events, and more. 23 September 2015 - Field Trip: Inner & Outer Harbors
This field trip will include a tour of the clipper ship "City of Adelaide" located in Inner Harbor IH, followed by a lunch cruise on the MV Port Princess to, and tour of, the Flinders Ports facilities at Outer Harbor. Further details about the field trip can be found here.
Please be aware that the minimum number of registrations (30) needs to be reached by 9 September.
4 November 2015 – Sustainable Water Supply – The Goyder Institute
After five years of operations, the Director of the Goyder Institute will give an overview of the outcomes of their research investment and how this evidence base has improved policy and water management relating to the River Murray, climate change adaptation, urban water management, outback water supplies and the environment.
