Engineers Australia is a national organisation with a growing number of international chapters and a wide range of career opportunities across Australia. We are well known for being the peak professional body, the trusted voice and the global home of the Australian engineering profession.
Engineers Australia has evolved through a sustained period of significant innovation and growth to become known as a top membership-based organisation. We lead and influence the engineering profession through strategic partnerships with industry and the Australian Government, to offer an ever-growing suite of world-class member benefits, products and services.
Please note: roles within Engineers Australia are focussed around providing professional services to our members and the broader engineering profession. As a result, we do not have any 'in the field' Engineering positions.
Additionally, due to Australian legislation and company policy, all employees of Engineers Australia are required to hold current Australian work-rights.
Chief Executive Officer
Engineers Australia’s Board is searching for a new Chief Executive Officer to enable the organisation to achieve its vision of being a world-class professional membership body.
The new CEO will be a trusted voice of the engineering profession, working diligently to influence public policy and engage with a range of sectors including government, industry and education and will report to the Board (which is chaired by the National President).
We’re a proud Equal Opportunity employer and we encourage applications from women and indigenous people.
There used to be lots of career options for qualified engineers all over Australia. You just gathered the ones you were interested in and took your pick – remember those days? Nowadays, the market has fewer opportunities and plenty of great candidates to choose from.
In this competitive market, you need to begin thinking like a “hunter”. A hunter actively pursues and creates new ways to make themselves stand out from the crowd.
The University of Queensland (UQ) in conjunction with the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering (ATSE), Engineers Australia and Brisbane Marketing, will hold a corporate lunch event on 21 July 2017 with special guest speaker, Andrew Liveris AO, CEO and Chairman, The Dow Chemical Company.
