Executive Officer/Secretariat - Canberra

As an Executive Officer/Secretariat within the Learned Society Business Unit, you will support a number of Engineers Australia's volunteer committees to enable them to operate efficiently through:

  • the delivery of high level secretariat services;
  • the provision of advice and support to develop and implement 3 year plans in conjunction with strategic direction;
  • the preparation and coordination of a range of professional correspondence such as meeting minutes, business cases, plans, memos, emails, reports and other documentation as required;
  • the provision of professional advice and guidance to allocated groups as per relevant regulations, policies and procedures in conjunction with Engineers Australia's strategic priorities; and
  • report on committee activities.

Campaign Manager/Marketing Professional - Canberra

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced marketing communications professional to join our vibrant marketing team in our Canberra office as a Campaign Manager. As the successful candidate, you will be surrounded by like-minded individuals and will be responsible for driving the development and execution of marketing strategies for a range of professional products and services offered by Engineers Australia.

HR Generalist - Canberra or Melbourne

An opportunity has arisen for a HR Generalist within our People and Workplace Business Unit to be based in either our Melbourne CBD or Barton, ACT office.

As the successful applicant, you will be provided with the opportunity to apply, and further develop, your proven experience as a well-regarded, results-focused, HR Generalist. Whilst you will service your assigned internal business group customers in terms of providing the full range of HR support (incl. recruitment, induction, performance management, remuneration, learning and development, termination processes and policy interpretation and development etc.), you will also have the opportunity to contribute to a number of significant staffing-oriented projects that we currently have underway.

Client Coordinator - Engineering Education Australia - Melbourne

Your primary responsibility as Client Coordinator will be to support the sales and successful delivery of corporate training, consultancy and other training related activities in support of the business development team.

Product Analyst - Engineering Education Australia  - Melbourne

As part of a vibrant team, your primary responsibility as Product Analyst will be to undertake timely and accurate research in support of our product offerings. This will include providing insights into profitability, customer needs, competitor benchmarking etc.

Expressions of Interest - Assessors - Canberra

Are you an experienced Engineer looking for a change of pace and a better work/life balance? Do you have fantastic customer service skills and would you like to give back to your profession through your day-to-day work? If you answered yes to these questions, you may be interested in working as an Assessor in the future.

As an Assessor within the Assessments team at Engineers Australia, you will assess the qualifications and/or skills of engineering professionals with regards to a number of international and national standards and accords.

More specifically, the Assessments team conduct the following assessments:

  • Migration Skills Assessment (MSA) for migration purposes in conjunction with the Australian Federal Government’s Skilled Occupation List (SOL);
  • In order to determine eligibility for inclusion on Engineers Australia’s National Engineering Register (NER);
  • Assessment of Competency Demonstration Reports (CDR) as a part of the broader Migration Skills Assessment; and
  • Stage 1 assessments to determine eligibility for Engineers Australia membership.
