Tertiary & Careers Coordinator - Melbourne - 12 month fixed term opportunity

A 12 month fixed term position in our Tertiary and Careers team. Working as part of a small team and directly to the Manager, Graduate and Careers, your key responsibilities will be to assist with the delivery of operational elements of activities and services in the Tertiary and Careers portfolio, such as Engineers Australia’s Careers webinar series, Careers Expos and the Student Ambassador program. You will also provide general administrative support to the team.

Corporate Communications Advisor - Melbourne

A brand new opportunity has arisen for an experienced communications professional to work under the guidance of the General Manager, Strategy and Analytics to take the lead of the organisation’s corporate communications.

Policy Advisor - Sydney or Canberra

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced policy/public affairs professional based within our Public Affairs team located in either Chatswood, NSW or Barton, ACT.

Reporting to the National Manager of Public Affairs, the Policy Advisor will work with a broad range of influential stakeholders including the Chief Executive Officer, member groups, industry experts, government representatives and high level managers across the country.

In this role, the position’s incumbent will take the lead on policy development and government engagement for one Engineers Australia's priority issues within the public affairs team.

Assessors - Canberra

Are you an experienced Engineer looking for a change of pace and a better work/life balance? Would you like to give back to your profession through your day-to-day work? If you answered yes to these questions, we may have just the job for you!

As an Assessor within the Assessments team at Engineers Australia, you will assess the qualifications and/or skills of engineering professionals with regards to a number of international and national standards and accords.

More specifically, the Assessments team conduct the following assessments:

  • Migration Skills Assessment (MSA) for migration purposes in conjunction with the Australian Federal Government’s Skilled Occupation List (SOL);
  • In order to determine eligibility for inclusion on Engineers Australia’s National Engineering Register (NER);
  • Assessment of Competency Demonstration Reports (CDR) as a part of the broader Migration Skills Assessment; and
  • Stage 1 assessments to determine eligibility for Engineers Australia membership.
