Program Manager, Awards - Canberra

Collaborate with your stakeholders to provide high level coordination & support for up to 50 awards, competitions & events!

A parental leave opportunity has arisen within Engineers Australia Canberra office for the position of Program Manager, Awards.

As the successful applicant, you will be responsible for the provision of high level coordination support to the Learned Society for the nomination, judging and awarding of up to 50 awards; as well as the organisational management of competitions, speaker tours and events.

Senior Graphic Designer - Canberra

An opportunity has arisen within Engineers Australia Canberra office for an experienced Senior Graphic Designer.

The Senior Graphic Designer is primarily responsible for providing graphic design services, website development and support to the Engineers Australia National Marketing team, under the supervision of the Creative Services Manager.

The Senior Graphic Designer will also be responsible for leading by example as well as mentoring other Graphic Designers in the Creative Services team to ensure the delivery of quality design in a timely manner.

Learning Designer (EEA) - Melbourne

A newly created opportunity has arisen within Engineers Australia's Melbourne office for an experiences Learning Designer.

As part of a vibrant team, your primary responsibility as Learning Designer will be the effective and timely design, development, and delivery of industry-specific and client-identified learning products to achieve identified learning and organisational outcomes.

Senior Conference & Events Manager - Melbourne/Sydney

We are currently seeking an experienced conference and events professional to become a fundamental member of the Engineers Australia National Conference and Events Team. 

As the Senior Conference & Events Manager, you will be able to join a solidly-performing team who have a high level of integrity. Executive Officer/Secretariat - Canberra

An opportunity has arisen within Engineers Australia Canberra office for an Executive Officer/Secretariat. 

As Executive Officer/Secretariat within the Learned Society Business Unit, you will support a number of Engineers Australia's volunteer committees to enable them to operate efficiently through:

  • the delivery of high level secretariat services;
  • the provision of advice and support to develop and implement 3 year plans in conjunction with strategic direction;
  • the preparation and coordination of a range of professional correspondence such as meeting minutes, business cases, plans, memos, emails, reports and other documentation as required;
  • the provision of professional advice and guidance to allocated groups as per relevant regulations, policies and procedures in conjunction with Engineers Australia's strategic priorities; and
  • report on committee activities.

Member Engagement Officer - South Australia

Expressions of Interest for Assessors - Canberra

Are you an experienced Engineer looking for a change of pace and a better work/life balance? Do you have fantastic customer service skills and would you like to give back to your profession through your day-to-day work? If you answered yes to these questions, you may be interested in working as an Assessor in the future.

As an Assessor within the Assessments team at Engineers Australia, you will assess the qualifications and/or skills of engineering professionals with regards to a number of international and national standards and accords.

More specifically, the Assessments team conduct the following assessments:

  • Migration Skills Assessment (MSA) for migration purposes in conjunction with the Australian Federal Government’s Skilled Occupation List (SOL);
  • In order to determine eligibility for inclusion on Engineers Australia’s National Engineering Register (NER);
  • Assessment of Competency Demonstration Reports (CDR) as a part of the broader Migration Skills Assessment; and
  • Stage 1 assessments to determine eligibility for Engineers Australia membership.
