Overview

Attend an open mic night for curious professionals interested in storytelling and sharing experiences. A number of speakers will present on wide-ranging topics across leadership and management, and engineering. Members of the audience will then be invited to speak to the group. 

This could involve a one-minute summary of how a derailed project was saved, cool and quirky engineering facts that blow your mind, or an unorthodox leadership strategy that achieved great things.

Learning outcomes

  • Gain insights from speakers on problem-solving within management and engineering domains, exploring intersections between the two fields.
  • Cultivate a mindset for outside-the-box thinking and develop an appreciation for diverse strategies in navigating professional challenges.

Event program

  • 6.00 pm: Mingling and networking 
  • 6.30 pm: Open mic - featuring scheduled speakers and opportunities for audience participation
  • 7.30 pm: Networking and event wrap-up
