About the speaker
Julio is a Rolling Stock Engineer with more than 20 years of experience in rolling stock specification, design, testing and commissioning and certification. He has led the design of many new rail vehicles, working with the main rolling stock suppliers in Europe. He is also extremely familiar with technical advisory and independent certification, and has worked in several projects in the Middle East.
Over the last 5 years in Australia, Julio has been involved in the procurement, delivery and certification of new rolling stock, design of maintenance depots, and integration of new signalling equipment onboard, for both freight and passenger transport.
