Thought Leaders Series: Landfill base liner design utilising geosynthetics

1.00 pm — 2.30 pm AEST, 08 May 2024
Webinar

Overview

Geosynthetics have been deployed to perform several functions across Australian Landfill projects including construction and rehabilitation for over 40 years.

When properly specified and installed, the use of geosynthetics has been proven to significantly enhance the performance of the landfill base liner system reducing maintenance costs and increasing design lifetime.

Join us to hear from industry subject matter experts on how technology and new innovations are advancing to reduce overall project costs and extend the long-term performance of landfill base liner systems.

Key Takeaways:

  • Reducing project costs
  • Extending asset life and performance
  • The importance of GCL compatibility testing during the design phase
  • Minimising installation time
  • Optimising the integrity of the landfill base liner system

Who should attend

This event is highly relevant for anyone working with the landfill operators, government bodies or consultants in the landfill, environment or water sector.

You do not need t be an Engineers Australia member to attend.
