Overview

Hear the latest advancements and discussions on AI4SE on an international level. The event will feature an Australian perspective to showcase the applications of AI-LLM for SE in software engineering. Engineers will be made aware of the need for responsible AI from an ethical and societal perspective. 

The panel will answer questions and field Q&A from the audience. The SESA committee will be in attendance, and tea and coffee will be provided. Following the event, attendees are invited to continue the conversation with our team and other attendees at a nearby venue. This is an opportunity to network and socialise in a relaxed setting. Please note that any costs incurred will be the responsibility of the attendee.

About the speakers 

Dr Ramakrishnan Raman
Dr Ramakrishnan Raman
Senior Chief Engineer - Systems Engineering, Eaton

Ramakrishnan Raman received B.Tech and MS degrees from IIT Madras, and Ph.D. from IIIT-Bangalore. He is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt, INCOSE Certified Expert Systems Engineering Professional – ESEP, Fellow - INCOSE, Fellow – Indian Society of Systems for Science & Engineering (ISSE) and an IEEE Distinguished Lecturer. He has to his credit several publications in refereed international conferences & journals on complex systems architecture design and artificial intelligence – machine learning and has also received best paper awards. He is active in the professional societies, including IEEE, INCOSE and SAE, and has held leadership positions in these societies, and has received multiple awards for his contributions. He has also served as Technical Committee Chair for many prestigious conferences including INCOSE International Symposium, IEEE CONECCT and SAE AeroCON. He is currently Senior Chief Engineer at Eaton. Prior to joining Eaton, he was Fellow at Honeywell Aerospace.

Tanya has skills in digital image processing, traditional computer vision techniques, handling structured as well as unstructured datasets, deep learning, and its advanced applications in Computer Vision as well as Natural Language Processing. Tanya is currently helping businesses solve complex problems using Generative AI at Google Cloud.

She is a renowned digital strategist with a reputation for her ability lead digital and AI transformation projects. Previously, Deputy Director Centre of Industrial AI Research and Innovation (CIAIRI) & Chief Digital Advisor at Microsoft she cultivates innovation with emerging technologies including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Generative AI, Machine Learning (ML), Mixed Reality (MR) & Digital Twin to industry sectors including health, transport, energy, education and urban planning, customer engagement and environmental stewardship. She was appointed an AI Ambassador and continues to advocate for ways that AI and XR can reinvent experiences in work and daily life.
