Have your say on Engineers Australia’s Awards program

Engineers Australia is reviewing its awards portfolio to build increased recognition and prestige for our engineering awards.

Whether you have participated in our awards program before or not, we are looking for your ideas and feedback on the value of the awards program.

In answering the survey you will get the chance to shape your future awards program and to provide ideas on how we can make our program even more prestigious

Complete our 10-minute awards survey, before COB Friday 16 September to have your say.

The member survey has been created following a series of awards review engagement sessions held in June and July this year.

Feedback from this survey and the engagement sessions will allow us to work on key outcomes to improve the program. These outcomes include:

  • Improving the prestige associated with Engineer’s Australia’s awards program to recognise great engineering for societal benefit
  • Tailoring the award categories to reflect Engineers Australia's values; integrity, teamwork, customer focus and progress
  • Improving the value of our awards for members and industry
  • Supporting our awards to serve as a benchmark for excellence in the engineering profession

Peter Godfrey, Chair of the Honours and Awards Committee at Engineers Australia, says we will continue to collaborate with key stakeholders to restructure the awards portfolio for the 2023 season.

“Together, members, office bearers, volunteers, and Engineers Australia staff can make a real difference to the engineering profession in developing a prestigious awards program that recognises excellence in engineering and the impact great engineering has on society,” Godfrey says.
